Privacy Policy
SortIt · Effective date: October 28, 2026

In short
SortIt has no accounts and never asks for your name, email or other contact details. Your game progress is stored on your device. To understand how the game is played and to fix crashes, the game sends anonymous usage statistics and crash reports to Google Firebase. You can turn this off at any time in Settings → Analytics.
Data stored on your device
To let you continue playing, the game saves on your device:
- level progress, stars and records;
- coins, boosters and streak shields (virtual items earned in the game);
- daily level history and streak;
- settings (sound, music, vibration, analytics).
This data stays on your device. It is removed when you delete the game or clear its data. Your phone's own backup (iCloud or Google backup) may include it, depending on your device settings; such backups are handled by Apple or Google under their privacy policies.
Data we collect
The game uses two Google Firebase services.
Firebase Analytics — usage statistics:
- in-game events: levels started, completed or failed, time spent on a level, stars, boosters used or bought, daily level and Challenge progress, set unlocks;
- app sessions, first launch and app version;
- device information: device model, operating system and version, screen size, language;
- approximate location (country and region), derived by Google from your IP address; we do not receive your IP address;
- a random app-instance identifier created on installation. It is not linked to your name, email or phone number and is reset if you reinstall the game.
Firebase Crashlytics — crash reports: the state of the app at the moment of a crash (stack trace, device model, OS version, free memory and disk space, app version) and a random installation identifier.
We do not collect the advertising identifier (IDFA / Google Advertising ID), contacts, photos, precise location, or anything you type. We do not combine this data with other sources and cannot identify you from it.
Why we use it
- to see which levels are too hard or too easy and improve difficulty;
- to understand which features are used and how many players come back;
- to find and fix crashes and bugs.
We do not use this data for advertising, do not sell it and do not share it with anyone except Google, which processes it for us as a service provider.
Turning it off
Open Settings in the game and switch off Analytics. After that the game stops sending usage statistics and crash reports from your device. Uninstalling the game also stops all collection.
Google Firebase
Firebase is provided by Google. Data may be processed on Google servers outside your country, including in the United States, under Google's safeguards. More information:
- How Google uses data from apps that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
- Firebase privacy and security: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
How long data is kept
Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months and then deleted automatically. Crash reports are kept for up to 90 days.
Legal basis (EEA and UK)
We process this data based on our legitimate interest in keeping the game stable and improving it. You can object at any time by switching off Analytics in Settings.
No purchases, ads or tracking
- No purchases for real money. Coins and boosters are virtual and earned only by playing.
- No advertising.
- No tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
Children
SortIt is a casual puzzle game for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used the game and want their data removed, contact us.
Your rights
Because the data is anonymous, we usually cannot tell which records belong to you. You can stop collection at any time (see "Turning it off"). If you want us to delete analytics data linked to your device, write to us and we will help as far as we can. Uninstalling the game resets its identifiers.
Changes to this policy
If we change what data the game processes, we will update this policy before that version is released and change the effective date above.
